If GMs or Ignis would have liked this suggestion we would already had an reply from them.

I personally like the +6 idea, but I'm not technically staff here anymore.

+6 idea is garbage.  No reason to penalize those who farm better than others.  Why change OLY?  Worked perfectly fine before.  So many do not do OLY.  If you change it, it will become even more scarce.  Concentrate on events worth a damn and stop changing stuff that works fine.  All Vanir events, are worthless and are only good for those with in their first week on Vanir.

in fact i do doubt anyone can really dislike the idea. It's a challenge and people tend to like a challenge (unless it would worth one's life, which in that case highly unlikely).

i would agree with kos once more, admin might want to leave some comment and it also could be a good idea to make some voting and make sure people are aware of changes if they ever happen to accure :)

Well, I dislike the idea. Ive made huge effort to make my items +++ and now they will be useless garbage? I hate crafting and enchanting (not mention farming aa and mats!) so it really displeases me, when i think about making another ~100 crafts to make another set...

As i have mentioned, you would not need to craft anything else if you have already had +6++ armor, but on the oly it will be considered as +6, if the changes are applied. Neither will it be a garbage - you are steel free to go pwn raids/castles/tw/whatever you would like to do. If everyone are using an equal gear you would not even need an OEd armors for oly, your skill, knowledge of lineage and a little bit of la2 awareness would be the things that do really matter (and probably a state of being an archer class ;p).

​P.S. did you really mean to have a 100 crafts for +6? :D
 

Forh whole set, considering my luck? yea... :( Well i didnt read that u want oly copnsidering ++++ stuff as +6, its much better idea. But im still not convinced.

So people want to make OLY +6 to make this game easier?  No more farming?  This is Lineage 2.  It is all about farming to improve your gear to have a better advantage in PvP.  It is the only reason why there is PvE.

Maybe, everyone needs to farm more instead of penalizing those who have farmed.

I don't agree too much with lowering the gear stats to +6 max, basically because that is almost imposible to do or would take too much working time that can be invested in other aspects of the server.

I would like an IP or even PC(to not deal with the problem of multiple people sharing the same internet connection) restricted CLASS BASED and 3v3, maybe if we get more people joining oly we can do the same on NON-CLASS BASED, but that would be in a future.

The main problem of oly is that the most recent noblesse players can't compete with well geared people but that's the essence of the game. The only idea that comes to my head is to do the first or first two hours "easy oly" but that depends of the end-geared guys of letting it happen, I don't think a rule would be so good.
