Rules and Conduct Terms

The following rules are for both L2Vanir Server and the L2Vanir Forum. Please be aware that failure to comply with these rules of conduct may result in the termination of your Lineage II game account.

General Rules:

  • While playing or using the forum of L2Vanir, you must respect every player. To this end, you may not defraud, harass, provoke, threaten, or cause distress and/or unwanted attention to other players.
  • You may not post or communicate any player's real world information (name, address, account name, etc.) through the L2Vanir Server or on the L2Vanir Forum.
  • You may not use any sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive language. Anybody found using this type of language for character or pet names, titles, clan and alliance names will be punished.
  • Transmitting or communicating any content which can be offensive, including, but not limited to, language that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.
  • When communicating in L2Vanir Server using Global Chat (server wide chat), you may not spam, flood or use any language except English.
  • Players aren't allowed to ruin the drop of a Raid Boss by hitting it with a higher level character with the only purpose of denying the drop.
  • You may not modify any part of the L2Vanir Client.
  • You may not advertise the intent to or commit the act of buying or selling items or accounts for cash/real world currency.
  • You may not buy, trade or sell your L2Vanir game accounts for in game items or currency. To do so privately at your own risk is a punishable offense. Any account lost or stolen this way will not be returned to you by the L2Vanir staff.
  • You may not arrange for the exchange or transfer of any pirated or illegal software while using the L2Vanir game or website.
  • You will not attempt to hack or using external programs such as "bots" to get advantage while playing L2Vanir. You may not assist, relay or store items for other players who are using these processes.
  • You will not exploit any bug in L2Vanir and you will not communicate the existence of any such exploitable bug (bugs that grant the user unnatural or unintended benefits) either directly or through public posting, to any other user of L2Vanir. Bugs should be promptly reported via Forums at Bug reports.

Castle Rules:

  • No alternative clans may take castles from main active clans. Alternative clans may attempt to take castle from other alternative clans, or take them from clans deemed defunct. 
  • If all castles are owned by main active clans, then other main active clans without a castle may attempt to siege any castle they wish. 
  • You may not take your own castle with your alternative clan in an attempt to gain two castles.

PVP Rules:

  • While PVP and PKing are always a part of Lineage2, griefing players or preventing any player from enjoying regular game play with multiple PKing, mob KSing, or other harassments will result in jail time. These times will be decided upon depending on the level of harassment.
  • PKing or denying any player from completing Fate's Whisper or Noblesse quest by PKing them at the bosses Cabrio, Hallate, Kernon, Golkonda and Barakiel will result in jail time. If the player is a repeater offender it might end with a permanent suspension of the account.

Olympiad Rules:

  • NO FEEDING.
  • The Olympiad is limited to one character per player (IP), you can't skip this restriction by any means.
  • Feeding or staying AFK isn't allowed in any kind of match of the Olympiads, this means you can't feed other players in class based, non-class based or 3v3 matches. The Olympiad matches are for real and for active players only.

Rules in Regards to Staff:

  • Spreading rumors or defaming a member of the L2Vanir staff is a punishable offence. If you witness abnormal behavior from any of our staff, please contact the server admin or another GM that may be online.
  • Do not ask GMs for real life information.  
  • Sharing information about GMs or the Administrators contact information, real name, or other like affairs is strictly forbidden.  Any player found doing so will be swiftly punished and likely removed from the server.
  • You must be respectful to staff members at all times.  If you feel a GM is treating you unfairly, please send a screenshot to an alternative GM or the server admin.
  • GMs have the final say in decisions unless explicitly deemed otherwise by the server admin.  When a GM asks you to stop, move, leave, relog or other like activities you will do so.

Ignorance of these rules does not exempt compliance.
