Hello. I've started playing here about a week ago and ever since I've been having random lag spikes. My usual ping here is about 50ms , but it lags for a second or so and I cannot do anything until it goes back to normal again. I also did a tracert and it seems to lose a packet at the same spot. Here's the traceroute :

Hello, is possible that the problem is in our datacenter but I would like to do more tests.
Do the next:
ping server.l2vanir.com -c 999
And 5 traceroutes more like you did, util shows trace complete.
And paste the ping result on pastebin or similars and here the tracertroute.

Hello, seems is not a connection problem, your 999 pings were sent successfully, 0% packet loss.
Explain how are these spikes, how often did you get them and so on. I mean, more delailed info, maybe this way we can help you better.

Hi, when it happens it feels like my ping is 500 and not 50. For example there's a big delay when selecting a mob or even moving and the next second I can do it almost instantly. They're not happening at a fixed rate, but are pretty often. I thought it's just a lag on my side, but my ping seems to be somewhat stable... That little delay on jump number 7 in tracert seems interesting, can that be it? No idea why could it be happening though.
This seems a hardware issue, try to log or see the cpu usage when this happens.
The router vss-7a-6k maybe is configured to answer only a fixed number of pings per second to avoid flooding.

My cpu is rarely at 50% while playing. You might be right about the strange flooding protection though, because this only happens here. I've also noticed that it's pretty often when I'm trying to change targets fast when fighting many mobs at once. There's no way to fix it on my side then. Thank you for your time.
