NPC Buffer

Hi Guys,

I have been playing on the server for a few days now. I think we should remove the NPC buffer or change it a bit.
For 5000 adena you can buy all the buffs (apart from COV, POF etc)

Reason:

1. Makes no one play active buffer class why? because there is no use for them in party etc you can simiply just get the buffs from NPC and go farm/pvp it lasts 1 hour not to mention you get also get nobless buff....

2. People need to lvl up a buffer just to get COV or POF. So basically they are useless till they get thoes buffs. As the NPC buffer provides the buffs up till then

Suggestion:

1. We remove the NPC buffer fully.
Pros: people will play active buffer class, might reduce having buff box toons, create more parties then just solo farming
Cons: Harder to solo unless you have buffs. however you get adventure buffs till 75. (like retail)

2. We modify the buffs. What I mean is the buffs price is way to cheap cosidering how fast you can farm / 1 hour duration. I suggest we have a scaling price. So the higher your lvl the more expensive it becomes. This is to compensate for your farming areas would drop more adena in higher lvl areas then at lower lvls.
Pros: Buffer classes still have a chance to play here.
Cons: Over time you would be wasting a lot of money on the NPC which could go towards gears etc.

I know most people already have box buffers on the server so it doesn't affect them.

This is just my thoughts being on the server for 3-4 days :)

Re: NPC Buffer

I think there is no point in meddling with the NPC buffer while buff duration is 1 hour. People will just make 3 extra buffers if it is removed, and the amount of buff boxes will only increase. Also, making the buff time retail like, in my opinion, is not an option, cause this is a mid-rate server. People are already used to have the system we have now, and suddenly doing a such a massive change could mean the end for the server.
