Event Engine

Hello,
I wanna advise (or ask) about event engine can you make (if wanna and if can) other event engine ( event system) like http://www.nexus-engine.net/ . Or change this events engine system because is a bit *shity* when register for event and only winner get reward and 2nd 3rd get nothing. I think with other engine will be register more players to events and to server :)
